Training that Makes a Difference
How Can We Help You?
Whether your staff is diverse or not, experience thought provoking activities and discussions around race, equity, privilege, acceptance and inclusion. Using restorative practices, as well as interactive scenarios and discussion strategies, learn how to confront implicit bias and work through discomfort to ensure a more productive work environment.
Do you have team members in conflict? Elephant in the room? Let our trained mediators help identify the root of the issue and collaboratively work to create action steps towards a more cohesive team.
Why our training is different?
Our training sessions are facilitated by real practitioners who walk the talk and have between 12-20 years experience in education. Our team provides interactive and immersive activities that encourage healthy discomfort and build empathy in order to make the learning space safer to have hard, honest dialogue.
What is a Circle?
A Circle is an alternate means of communication. Circles are a form of a restorative practice fashioned after how the First Nations' People would conduct business, resolve conflict, etc. They would sit around the fire with a talking piece, speak their truth and hear from their community. Depending on the occasion, Circles engage participants in a series of activities, such as story telling in order to get to the underlying reasons behind some feelings, repair harm, and or celebrate one another. We specialize in:
-
Circles to repair harm
-
Conflict Circles
-
Check In Circles
-
Learning Circles
-
Victim/ Offender Circles
-
Celebration Circles
-
Race Relation Circles
-
Circles for Cultural Responsiveness
-
Diversity Circles
